"Is something missing in your life?"

Have you been feeling like there is no longer that T.V show that gives you the extreme drama, the comedy, the suspense and the EXTREMELY attractive people all in one show....well I have news for you!

Baywatch, aka "Babe Watch," is on Saturday night at 5:00 on channel 16 (if you have Dish Network). Collin and I had a great time remembering how much we LOVED this show, and I forgot how EXTREMELY HOT David Hasselhoff is. And as a bonus, he sings the song as the credits go across the screen...he is so talented. So, if you have nothing to do at 5pm on Saturday night, catch up on some Baywatch. (Coors I know you will take advantage of this.)

**Just so you know, I am being very sarcastic...sorry to those that really do love this show.

Four little Princess's....and one little prince

Here ye, here ye....Peiton has been invited to her first birthday party.

Peiton was so excited to go to her little friend Kallee's 1st birthday party. (She told me she was super excited; yes I know, she is only 7 months) I think the mom's were more excited than the kids, a time to get away, eat and watch our darling daughters...and son.
Kallee's cute mom Rachel, had lined up all the highchairs with balloons, princess crowns (prince crown), bibs and everything we ate started with a "P"...little miss creative.
My most favorite part of the party would have to be Kallee opening her presents. Now, you wouldn't think a 1 year old would really care too much about the presents, but this little princess was hilarious! She got so excited to open the gift and then when she saw the gift she was so excited....she knew exactly what was going on. It was too funny.

Easter Vacation

For Easter weekend we took a trip down to sunny St. George with Collin's family. Besides the driving, the vacation was great. The driving got a little chaotic, but we managed to make it. (I told Collin this is the furthest we will be driving with the kids for a long time.) Peiton slept maybe 15 minutes of the 4 hours drive, Bode did great and slept 2 hours, and Cooper just couldn't quit asking "Are we close yet?" Bless his heart, it is a long drive for a little 6 year old. The drive was well worth it once we got there. We stayed at Green Valley and had a fabulous condo. The first night was a little crazy, I think Collin and I saw every hour pass, as Peiton just wasn't sure what was going on. So we took care of that problem, Benadryl on the way...she slept like a baby should sleep the rest of the trip.

The next day Collin was able to go golfing while I stayed in the condo with the boys. And that is what we basically did, stayed in the condo. It isn't worth it to take the kids out and chase Bode around while trying to keep a hold of Peiton. We did venture out to the park for a little bit. It wasn't too crazy. Thank goodness Cooper had his cousins to keep him entertained.

After Collin got back, we were ready to go to the swim pool. Cooper was a little fish and had so much fun. Bode did great too, and Peiton watched by the sidelines. She did have the cutest little swimsuit on though, too bad I didn't get a picture of it.

On Saturday we woke up and went to the sand dunes. The kids had so much fun, jumping, rolling and collecting as much sand as possible on their clothes and little bodies.

The next day was Easter Sunday. The kids woke up to hidden baskets left by the Easter Bunny. We then went to church and came back for a yummy breakfast brunch. We finished the day off with eating, Easter egg hunt, eating, relaxation, eating, walks, eating, and bedtime.

On Monday morning we headed back. It was a great little get away that we all enjoyed. Thanks Holly and Charlie for putting it together and for the great memories! We love you!

Let's go fly a kite...

What a great day to fly a kite, 60 degrees, sun and wind....and let me tell you, there was wind. When we went on our cruise, we brought Cooper back a CHEAP. little Spider man kite. They were everywhere in Mexico, and they knew how to fly them (they did probably get 12 hours a day of practice), they made it look so simple. But today we discovered that they were not that simple. The "Kite Master" Lou Lou, was the only one to get hers in the air. Good job Lou, Lou! Keysha and Carsen came pretty close, and Coop and I got ours in knots before it even left the ground. I did realize today, it takes skills to fly a kite...at least one from Mexico that is sold on the streets.

Bode doing a great job flying the Dora kite. The only problem is he would run forward instead of backwards. It soon became a great workout for me.

Somehow Bode would get tangled in the kite string. He thought it was pretty hilarious. I think he may have started to do it on purpose.

Finishing the adventure off with a quick play on the playground. By this time the wind was a brewing, Peiton was a screaming and Bode was a runnin' on the loose. (The leash attached to him only lasts for so long....yes it is a leash, there is no way I can handle him and Peiton at the same time. Bode is constantly on the go. Thanks to Lou Lou he was able to ride home in her stroller so I didn't have to chase him home, or to where ever his little legs will take him.)

As all of you know, today was St. Patty's day and our day was full of GREEN, maybe too much green (we will see in a day or two). First, the kids woke up to green pancakes. At first Cooper was not to sure about them, but once he tasted them, he was sold. Now for Bode, he was a little bothered that he did not get his regular yogurt, and Life cereal....so hard to please.Green pancakes

Later that afternoon, I took Peiton to the doctor and when I came back there was Leprechaun footprints outside and inside our house. (I have know idea how they got there????) When Cooper came home from school, he saw them and was fascinated. He told me he looked around at all the other houses and there weren't any on their porches. He was then convinced only the Leprechauns visit the good boys, and he had been extra good.

When he came into the house the footprints led to a plate full of cookies and "GOLD" aka Snickers. There was also some "Blarney dust" left behind by our little Leprechaun. Cooper was excited to see what the "Blarney dust" would make.

The "Blarney Dust" was once white and now it is green...amazing! Those Leprechauns sure are smart. (hint...pistachio pudding)

The next part of our St. Patty's day was dinner. We had a full on, green dinner! Green chicken, green rice, green broccoli, green jello and green punch. Coop thought it was pretty cool, and Bode enjoyed the jello.

50 things about me...

I have been tagged twice…so, I will be combining both of the tags together (hopefully that works Aly and Alisha.) Here is goes, 50 things you might have already known about me or might have not known about me.

1. I come from a family of 7 kids…5 girls and 2 boys. I love each and every one of them.
2. I was born August 13, 1977. I hit the 30 mark last year and am not looking forward to the age of 31.
3. I love anything lemon; I love the tarty, sweet taste.
4. When I was elementary school, I use to be the shyest thing ever! I never would say a word unless I was home. Hard to believe, huh?
5. I have been pulled over like 5 times and never once have gotten a speeding ticket (knock on wood).
6. I have been rear ended once and I backed into a parked car once…luckily the car was a beater just like mine and the lady could care less.
7. I love chicken broccoli casserole.
8. I have always wanted to be a rodeo star, barrel racing looks like a blast. Riding the mules on our excursion in Mexico made it more clear to me that it would be awesome.
9. I LOVE dolphins and one day I WILL swim with them.
10. In high school I wanted to be a dolphin trainer and then learned that you have to get a degree in Marine Biology. There was no way I thought I could do that, so I switched my career to a lifeguard at the beach…I know, I set high expectations for myself.
11. I enjoy working out and if I miss the gym or a workout to laziness, I get pretty mad at myself…I think I am a little psycho.
12. When I was like 3, I flew out the car window and got over a 100 stitches in my head and broke both collar bones.
13. In high school and after high school, my best friend Elisha and I would play incognito. We will leave it at that. Some of the things we did were kind of embarrassing, but fun!
14. We would also dress up in goofy outfits and go out in public and make a fool of ourselves.
15. I have always wanted a lot of kids, but I think I will be stopping at 3 kids.
16. In 7th grade choir I thought I could sing so in front of the whole class I tried out for a solo in the song “the rose.” Well I didn’t make it, but I did make the whole class laugh their guts out.
17. The first time I really met Collin was at my sister’s wedding…that is when I realized he was hot stuff.
18. I am, and always will be a fan of Dawson’s Creek…best show ever!
19. Growing up I wanted my name to be Sam…just like Sam on “Who’s the boss?”
20. I love the smell of rain on hot cement.
21. One of my most favorite times of the day is getting Peiton out of her crib in the morning. She always has the biggest smile and it just makes your morning.
22. I use to love to scrapbook, but these days I am getting lazy and don’t have time to do it.
23. I want to run the St. George marathon in October, hopefully I get in.
24. My dad likes me the best out of all the kids in our family! And you know it girls!
25. Holy cow, I am only half way done…whoa!
26. I love Disneyland; I could go there every year. It is just a magical, happy place.
27. My new hobby is blogging.
28. One of my favorite things to do on a date with Collin would have to be just going to a movie and dinner.
29. I love movies; I guess you could say I kind of like to collect them.
30. I love shoes, although I never wear half of my shoes because I am too lazy to get them out of the boxes in my closet. I just wear the same ones over and over again.
31. I have always wanted a big red jeep with big ole’ wheels.
32. I could easily live in California; I would miss my family and friends like crazy though.
33. I have a mole on my big toe, it use to be pretty big, but the older I get the smaller and less noticeable it gets.
34. I love to shop and find great deals.
35. I think my husband is hilarious; I love to hear him laugh.
36. I hate spiders, mice, worms, anything small and yucky, I hate it. I get the hebbie jebbies anytime I see any of them.
37. After delivered Bode, I had a freaky experience that they say I am pretty lucky to be alive. I was really scared going into labor with Peiton in fear that it would happen again. This tells me 3 kids may just be enough.
38. I use to love Lemon pies by Hostess. I could down like 3 of them. I remember asking for Lemon pies for my birthday.
39. When it was our birthdays in the Van Wagoner household, we would get our store bought birthday cake and when everyone had a piece the rest would be ours. We would hide them under our beds so that nobody could get any of it. I think our mom deprived us from junk food as children, because whenever there is anything sugary in front of our faces, we down it like we have never seen sugar in our lives.
40. I had my papers already to serve a mission. The physical and everything was done. My friend Brandy asked me to go backpack Europe for a month and so I did. When I got home that desire to serve a mission was gone. It is probably a good thing I didn’t go because a couple months later Collin asked me out and our relationship began soon after that.
41. I was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
42. I have Indian in my blood.
43. When I was younger I spilled boiling butter on my little brother’s head. He got like 3rd degree burns from it and now has a huge scar on his head and shoulder. Sorry Bubba, I hope I haven’t traumatized you too much.
44. When I was younger I use to change my clothes like 5 times a day, it drove my mom crazy. It now drives Collin crazy.
45. I love chocolate chip cookie dough.
46. I love cake batter ice cream with gummy bears from Cold Stone.
47. My family makes me so happy.
48. I love to dance. I love to dance with my boys. And I love to watch them groove to the music.
49. I love Bunco. I have it tonight and I am super excited. We have such a fun Bunco group, it is great to go and chat with a bunch of awesome ladies.
50. I love my house and my neighborhood. We are pretty lucky to live where we live with all the good neighbors and friends we have made.

We're Cruisin....

The past week we were able to go on a Mexican cruise, It was PERFECT! We had so much fun. It was a 7 night cruise in Mexico, we visited Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta. We had fabulous weather, fabulous food (plenty of it), fabulous company and just fabulous fun. Here is a run down on the things that happened day by day on our fantastic cruise. ( I am really not going into to much detail, this post would be pages long, it already is pretty long and I don't want to bore you too much.)

Day 1: We left SLC for sunny Long Beach California. It was hard to say goodbye to our sweet kiddies, but we knew that they would be in good hands. We had fabulous babysitters taking care of the little munchkins. We really appreciate the help they are always willing to give to us.
We made it to Long Beach airport and it was beautiful...the sun was shining and it was warm, the perfect start to a perfect vacation. For any of you that have been to Long Beach airport, you know how tiny it is, it was hilarious, I have never been to such a small airport.

We made it to our cruise ship about 2:00...we were so excited to get on the ship. Once we were on we did the touring of the boat and of course had to grab something to eat right away. The Windjammer Cafe became our best friend.

We finished the day off with dancing by the pool, meeting our waiter in the dining room, eating some more, and enjoying some entertainment they had for us.


Day 2: Today was our first day at sea. A fun day of ReLAxaTioN! We found our spots out by the pool and spent most of the day out in the sun reading, eating, talking and enjoying the "sexy leg contest." and did I mention we ate? They were having a rock wall climbing competition so we decided to head over and watch. We ended up participating. Lucky me I ended up taking 3rd in the competition for the girls...okay so there were only 3 girls that participated, that basically means I came in last place...go Nat! I have never done this before, it as actually pretty fun, but kind of scary climbing this big wall on a back of a cruise boat in the middle of the ocean. And you were trying to go as fast as you can so you don't come in last place, didn't work so well.

Tonight was our first formal night. We all had so much fun getting dressed up and enjoying the fancy food the dining room had to offer.

We finished the night off with some killer Karaoke. Leslie rocked the house I must say...I think maybe more deaf tone than me, but with some killer dance moves. She looked awesome! Miss Keysha did fabulous of course and for me, I picked a pretty bad song, didn't go over so well. Like they say on American Idol, "it's all about song choice."

Day3: Today we were in Cabo San Lucas. We decided to go to a resort right on the beach and spend the day there. It was called "ME" a Nikki Beach Club Resort. It was a pretty awesome place. We had these fun little beds right on the beach, some yummy food and the awesome ocean 20 feet away. The weather was fabulous and we enjoyed relaxing and strolling along the beach.

Day 4: Today we were in Mazatlan. Chad our willin' and dealin' guy, found us a guy to take us around the city. I actually had a great time with it. He took us to Old Mazatlan and New Mazatlan and gave us some history behind the whole city. He also took us to a authentic Mexican Restaurant that was pretty good.

We went to the market place and there was raw meat everywhere! It was disgusting! We found this...a pig head and pig feet, YUCK! It made me not want to eat meat again...or at least for a couple of hours.

Day 5: Today was the funniest excursion by far. It was a bummer because this is the one that Collin had to miss out on because of his knee. We were in Puerto Vallarta, which is gorgeous! I could spend a whole week there enjoying the awesome scenery. The excursion was call Outdoor Adventures, and it was an adventure. First, they put us in these raft like boats and took us across the ocean to a little cove. From there we got on these big trucks, they looked like the big trucks they use in the army with the big canopy over the back. It was a wild ride up the mountain to where we got on all of our zip line and rappelling attire. After we got that on we were given a mule, my mule's name was Pistola, long for "Pistol," and boy she was a Pistol...she took me up that mountain pretty quick. Riding the mule was probably one of my favorite parts of the whole excursion. Then we got off the mules and were taken to the first Zip line, it was amazing! You ride this zip line in the middle of a rain forest with streams and waterfalls everywhere. It was amazing. You ride a bunch of zip lines and then you rappel a down a 100 foot waterfall. One of the zip lines you ride right into a pool of water, which is so freezing, but is is such a thrill. I really missed Collin while I was doing it, because he would of loved it too, but I know that he was having a blast with all the old folks that don't get off the boat, so no need to worry about him.

Day 6: Today we were at sea. We had another great day laying by the pool, eating, reading, talking and let us not forget the belly flop contest featuring "Shamu" aka...T.J. One of the guys with us, T.J. entered the belly flop contest and he brought the house down with his "Shamu "impersonation. He did a graceful belly flop into the pool, swam up to the side of the boat looking just like Shamu, spit some water in the air, and wiggeled himself off into the pool. It was CLASSIC! He was known by "Shamu" for the rest of the trip.

Tonight was the last formal night, I barely fit into my dress after a week of eating whatever I want. Three deserts here, two entrees here, five appitzers to start it out with.

Day 7: This was our last day on the boat. The closer we got to California the colder it got. It was too cold to lay by the pool so we spent the day indoors. I was able to get a fabulous spa treatment, ate, we watched a movie in the theatre, did some fun game shows, ate, packed up, ate, and just hung out. By this time I was missing my kids and getting ready to come home. The next morning we were in California and ready to get off the ship. I was anxiously awaiting getting to see my cute kids. It was a bitter sweet feeling, you wanted to get home to your family, but you didn't want the trip to be over yet. We had such a great time and have so many fun memories...so many it is hard to even write them all down. It is good to get back in the swing of things, work off this extra 10 pounds that I have on me, and just be a mom again. Thanks Collin for the great trip and thanks to the fun friends that we were able to share it with, it couldn't have been better. And especially thank you to those that watched our kids, we wouldn't have been able to go without you helping out. Thanks a million!
