Oh....how you have grown!

Happy Birthday Collin!

Do you remember all of these years? You have grown into such an amazing man that I love so much!

Cute baby boy

(Is that better Kelly?? :) Thanks)

You have always been a fabulous dresser. Check out the yellow pants!

Again, such a love for sports. It is good that now that you are now bigger than the ball. Makes for a much easier game:)

You have such a love for sports. I know that you don't even come close to enjoying them like you would like to. Your family always comes first to you and that means a lot to me.

Look at that beautiful hair...I am really missing the part honey...let's bring it back!

High School grad!

Check out that chiseled chin:)

Off to New York to serve for 2 years.

Probably the best day of your life when you got to marry me;) ;) ;) Well it was one of the best days of my life. We have had a great 9 1/2 years together.
After 9 years...look what we have! 3 amazing and darling kids...(I must say that back of their head is pretty cute too)
I love you! Thanks for all the memories and how much you do for our family. You are the most unselfish person I know, you give up so much for us. I hope you have a great day!!

I HEART...laughing

I really love to laugh...who doesn't. There is something about it that is so therapeutic. There is nothing better than a good ole' gut rolling laugh. I feel like I forget to laugh, there is so much that goes on in my life daily that I could just stop and laugh about the situation but instead I get mad and then realized I could have just laughed it out.
I am happy that I have a husband that makes me laugh quite a bit, although he says I have lost my sarcastic side a little bit and not so much fun to joke around with anymore...something I need to change:)
If anyone is up for a good laugh...I am in!

I HEART...old friends

I love to catch up with old friends and that is what I did today. Celest has been a great friend of me and Jacki for quite a while. I have tons of memories of Celest! She was the one that would pick me up every morning of my junior year and take me to school. We would spend a lot of time after school going to this nasty restaurant that had the most yummy scones and then top it off with a good ole' tan session. Or if we didn't do that we were going to the mall to just hang out. Another one of my favorites was going to the Olive Garden and deciding whose birthday it was so we could get the yummy chocolate cake they use to serve (I know, not very honest). Celest let me come and stay with her at Snow College to help me decide if that was where I wanted to go. The memories go on and on...it is crazy that Celest lives like 2 minutes away from me and this is really the first time we have gotten together in the 4 years we have lived by each other.

I am glad we finally did it and now we have to make it a regular thing...Thanks for being such a great friend all of these years! It was so good to get caught up on each other's life's. Love ya and looking forward to the next time:)

My family...

The other day we were all eating breakfast and I looked at Collin and said "these are our kids...3 kids, is that all there is going to be?" (Don't you ever have those thoughts? These are really my kids...??) Collin replied "yeah, 3 is pretty good...I can see this being all." I then asked Cooper if he thinks we should have anymore kids or if 3 is enough. He replies by saying..."NO...we can't have anymore kids, I just can't take care of anymore! I already take care of Bode and Peiton and can't do anymore!" I just had to laugh...and then I felt bad, do I really rely too much on him to take care of Bode and Peiton? He does such a great job!

I HEART...WW

This is probably one of my most favorite diet plans..well actually it is my favorite. Since it is Monday and after having a holiday weekend and at full force with WW. I love the point system and having my choices of food to eat. I love that it reminds me of portion control and to drink a lot of water. Too bad I have started it and stopped it so many times, my body is adjusting and the weight just doesn't come off as easy...

I HEART...Valentine's Day

One of my top 5 favorite holidays has always been Valentines day. I guess there are a few reasons why...I guess Valentines pops up in the middle of February when I am always desperately looking forward to something to happen to get me through the dry spells of the long winter. And the other reason would be looking forward to making Valentine's dinner for the ones I love. Growing up my mom would do this for my family and it is a tradition that I have always wanted to keep doing in my family. I loved the excitement of my mom blind folding us as she took us upstairs to the candle lite table with a yummy dinner awaiting us, the best part was we didn't have to do any dishes! (that really wasn't the best part, but was nice to not have to worry about)

This year it will be the 11th Valentine's dinner I have cooked for Collin...11, that is pretty crazy that we have been each others Valentine for that long.
The fun part about this is that we get to invite a few people each year to enjoy the fun time (they probably find it a little crazy that they are sent upstairs to my bedroom where I bring them appetizers to enjoy...I can't really remember hanging out in any of my friends or families bedroom. If we had a finished basement that is where they would be hanging out). This year we decided to have Collin's family over, we missed you Court and Matt:(

Peiton helped me out in the kitchen for a little bit and then she would run back upstairs to join the fun.

When the food was all ready, I called everyone to come down (too many people to blindfold one by one) and find their name tags. This is what they saw....

Menu:

Garlic baked Chicken

Twice baked potatoes in heart shape

Orange butter asparagus

Heart shape rolls

Strawberry spinach salad

Kids Menu:

Heart shaped cheese pizza

Salad

Red heart Jello

The "Lovey Dubby" couples

I hope everyone had a great time, I always have such a fun time making this dinner and putting it all together. And probably the best time of the night would have had to be Cam's hilarious, uncontrollable laugh!! He was crying he was laughing so hard, I have never seen him laugh this hard. So thanks for the good laugh Cam!

Love you guys!

I HEART...antibiotics

I love these little guys so much! It is amazing how fast they can kick in and thank goodness on my behalf and Collin's behalf. I am now feeling 75% better compared to yesterday when I couldn't even get out of bed:(

I HEART...the "Beeg nahsty hill"

First of all I love my gym, it has great everything. I even love it more because I car pool with some of my best friends every morning and we have some classic conversations and it helps me get my bum into gear.
Well on Wednesdays I go to a cycle class (I think I may have mentioned this before...gas ring a bell??) Well today in cycling was hills, I love hills. It is probably my favorite class out of all of the classes. Well the instructor has a name for a really long hill (about 11 minutes long). First of all Eric, the instructor has an accent, so everything he says sounds pretty cool and it is fun to imitate. Well the name for this long hill is called "thee beeg nahstey" (the big nasty). I guess you could say that really isn't the name I would particularly use, every time he says it, I can't help to think of something to do with a bowel movement...yeah yuck, I know. O'well it is a great chuckle whenever he says it and I really love the "beeg nahstey" hill.

I HEART...getting my hair cut & colored

Sometimes I can be kind of cheap, but when it comes to my hair...not so cheap. I look forward to getting my hair cut when there is still 3 weeks remaining. There is something about it that is just so refreshing. First, you get a brand new do. Second, you get an awesome head massage that you just never want to end. And thirdly it is just time away, my time away:)
My hair is pretty tricky to cut, so once I find a stylist that can cut it, I stick with them. I have been so lucky to have the best stylists that are so much fun to chat with (miss you Rach).

I HEART...the HOT sun!

I love the HOT sun, and I miss it so, so, much!

I HEART...sugar cookies

I LOVE sugar cookies! They are my all time favorite cookie (that is if they are soft and thick, they have to be soft and thick for me to love them). I think I ate about 10 of them in 24 hours...maybe even 15! Yumm, yumm, yumm...I am going to hate myself come Monday morning when nothing fits:(

I HEART...email

Isn't email awesome? I really love it and I don't know what I would do without it. How did we get through life without email? Although, how did we get through life without a lot of things? Email makes things so simple. Personally I am not too much of a phone person, I love to talk on the phone if there is something to talk about but I hate the whole blah, blah, blah talking about nothing and sometimes email just kind of elminates that. It also is so easy to drop a message to a bunch of people at the same time, instead of calling each person.
I do believe that there are sometimes you shouldn't use email. I think a heartfelt thank you should come on a card and not through email. There are those thank you's that are fine to do email, I have done my share of them. But some thank you's need to be done by card (just my opinion) Anyway that is my thought on email...love them!

I HEART two things...

Today I love two things because they go hand in hand, here they are...

The movies

I love to go the the movies and what makes it even better is that my Collin loves the movies too. A perfect date for me would be dinner and a good movie, there is just something about it. And it helps to that we have some way awesome theaters surrounding us. Larry H does such a great job with his theaters, they make them so easy to catch a flick, I love it! It makes it even better when the movie is a good one and today it was. If you have a chance to see a movie, make it "Taken," it is awesome! Liam Neeson is one tough cookie in it:) and it kept my attention the whole time.

Now the next thing I love today is....

The Johnson's

These two are awesomely, awesome! Collin took the day off today because he has been working some really late nights the last couple of days and Marcy called today and INSISTED that she tends our kids while we go to the show and then grab something to eat after, and this isn't the first time she has done this for us. We came to pick them up and she had already fed them dinner and they had a blast! Marcy is the type that would love to help out anyone if they needed it. She is so giving of her time and gives so much service. She is the type that is always on top of the thank you cards (I really admire this, because I am so bad at it), she is just really on top of everything, she knows the good deals, what's going on, being packed for a trip a month in advance..(ha,ha,ha) Marcy is just on the ball. She is a great friend to all! And the fact that her husband is a crack up makes them even better to hang out with. Randall is the one that helped us through our whole flooring process, he helped a bunch, gave a lot of his time and advice. He was always willing to help us out.

Thank you thank you Johnson's, you rock!

I HEART...my mom!

My mom has always been amazing, but today and last week she has been spectacular. She just knows when to call and check up on me, maybe it is because she is so in tune with the spirit (she is one of the most spiritual persons I know). Last Thursday (those are her days off) she came out and took me and the kids to lunch and then took Bode home with her for a little bit. Then today I got a much needed phone call from her at 8:30 this morning wondering what she could do today to help. This lady is also one of the most busiest persons I know, so I know her time is precious to her. Well today she came out and tended the kids so I could make a trip to the temple and just sort some of my feelings out. It also allowed me to just get away without spending a dime and on top of that I got a natural high for the rest of the day. I don't know why I don't make it a point to attend the temple more often.

Well, back to my mom...things like this just amaze me about her. She is always willing to help me and any of my other siblings out if she is available without any complaints. I am so thankful for her continuous example, her heartfelt prayers on my behalf and the many, many things she does for me and my family. I love you mom and thank you so much for the little break today!

I HEART...Target

I love this place, I love everything about it (except for the returns). I love the clothing in all departments, the home decor, the pharmacy, I just love it all! It is a bad thing for me to go to Target, I end up spending way too much, or end up wanting something that I really don't need:(
What would I do without this store??

I HEART...

Gossip Girl...
I don't know if I should be admitting this or not, but it is one of my found "dirty pleasures" that I acquired at the beginning of this season. So much drama, suspense, giggles and some really great outfits that Leighton Messter, aka Blair, throws together. It is pretty entertaining...xoxo.
(Yes, Stacy it is trashy, and there is more I could be doing with my time when my kids are all nicely snuggled in their beds, but why bother? This satisfies me completely:)

I HEART....

I HEART my kiddo's!

I love this picture, because it is such my kids personality. Cooper is usually just quite entertained with anything, very mellow and just kind of a laid back kid. Then there is Bode who seems to always be off in his own little world doing whatever his little heart desires. Then there is Peiton, the little princess, she is usually making this face about 50% of the day. I have learned just to usually walk away when she does it:)

I love the differences in all of them and I love the happiness they bring into our homes. i am one pretty lucky mom to have some pretty stinkin' cute kids!

It is the month of "love"...so now it is time to let you know some of the things I "love." Some serious, some not so serious...

I HEART Collin...
One of the things I love about this guy, is just look at him...he is pretty much always happy! People love to be around him and I LOVE to be around him, I am not sure if it goes both ways, I am always not the happiest person and always not so fun to be around.
But I do love that besides my unhappy moments he still LOVE's me and does anything in his power to make me happy:)
